Below is a list of charities I personally recommend donating to, in order to help feed Gaza's severely malnourished population, 91% of whom are "facing crisis levels or worse" food insecurity and malnutrition [1] as of the ceasefire being declared on Sunday 19th January 2025:
UNRWA (United National Relief and Work Agency for Palestinian Refugees): https://donate.unrwa.org/gaza/~my-donation
OXFAM: https://www.oxfam.org.uk/oxfam-in-action/current-emergencies/gaza-crisis-appeal/
Human Appeal: https://humanappeal.org.uk/appeals/gaza-emergency-appeal
The screenshot to the left, showing all of my music income, which is now all being donated to UNRWA, shows the earnings generated from streams of the songs. Note that this does not quantify the direct donations listeners have made through UNRWA donation links posted on YouTube, which remains the best way to raise money.
Again, as with the last update, I had hoped to raise more money, but in reality, music streaming pays very little money, with the vast majority of money collected by most music streaming services going to the top artists on the platforms (watch this video to find out more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HslzN_XgazM). Again, Deezer is a notable exception to this; they split your subscription fee between only the artists you listen to.
Nonetheless, the main objective of the songs was to raise awareness, which they have certainly done. I would like to personally thank you all for your continued dedication and support. I have released "War or Genocide?" now as a Deluxe Album with an Extended Version of the song "You Can't Wash Their Blood From Your Hands". I really hope it does generate a lot more money for Gaza, given the Genocide is (hopefully) over now, thus the Album's reflective nature should hopefully "hit home" more, given people are starting to process everything that's happened.
