Below is a list of charities I personally recommend donating to, in order to help feed Gaza's severely malnourished population, 91% of whom are "facing crisis levels or worse" food insecurity and malnutrition [1] as of the ceasefire being declared on Sunday 19th January 2025:
UNRWA (United National Relief and Work Agency for Palestinian Refugees): https://donate.unrwa.org/gaza/~my-donation
OXFAM: https://www.oxfam.org.uk/oxfam-in-action/current-emergencies/gaza-crisis-appeal/

Below is a short set of Books I highly recommend reading to further educate yourself about the Israel-Palestine conflict.
This book, written by Ta-Nehisi Coates, a black American author, brilliantly links what is happening to the Palestinians to Western Colonialism and Apartheid, particularly to that which was practiced by Apartheid South Africa, to whom Israel has some very shocking links. If you read any book about Palestine, read this one! You can also check out this YouTube Playlist, which uses short excerpts from the Book, read by Ta-Nehisi Coates himself, to explain how Israel went from a nation of Holocaust Survivors to Genocide Perpetrators.
This is the first history book of the Israel-Palestine conflict written solely by a Palestinian thus making it a must read! The author, Rashid Khalidi, who resides in the United States, criticises the approach of both the Palestinian Authority and Hamas, thus making him more trustworthy, particularly when he sets the record straight about the history between Israel and Palestine. Much of what we were told from the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, to the 1967 Six Days War and the 1990's Oslo Accords, is much different in reality, so educate yourself today about the real history between Israel and Palestine.
This book, written by Ilan Pappe, a Jewish Israeli Historian, brilliantly dispels 10 Myths About Israel, which help to further perpetuate its apartheid and colonisation of the Palestinian people, as well as its genocide of them. Namely, the myths are:
1. Palestine was an Empty Land
2. The Jews were a people with out a land
3. Zionism is Judaism
4. Zionism is not Colonialism
5. The Palestinians Voluntarily Left their Homelands in 1948
6. The June 1967 War was a war of 'No Choice'
7. Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East
8. The Myths about the Oslo Agreement
9. The Lies we tell about Gaza
10. The two state solution is the only way forward
It's definitely worth the read!
